EasyShell

You can choose from a list with essential PC software (Open-Source and FreeWare). The installer is automatically downloaded from the internet and launched when the download is finished. Press and hold CTRL on an app in the list to see a description.

You can uninstall any application that appears in Add or Remove Programs list in Control Panel

EasyShell indexes and monitors all the executable files in Program Files (Program Files\Directory\App.exe but not Program Files\Directory\SubDirectory\App.exe) and the ones in the Start Menu

You can remove any program or non-Microsoft service that is configured to startup automatically when your log on.

To view all the running applications just pres Down Arrow, instead of typing an application name. If you select an application from the list with the arrow keys and press and hold CTRL you will see details about that app, like full path and memory usage.

Like ALT+TAB but much faster because you need to type just a few letters from the name of the window you want to see, even if it’s minimized

All the files from the Desktop and Known Folders( Documents, Pictures, Videos, Music) with usual extensions are indexed when EasyShell starts and continuously monitored thereafter. If a file is created, copied, moved or deleted, EasyShell will instantly know about it! If you hold and press CTRL on an item you can see the full path and size.

For the commands that take a file or folder as argument you can press Backslash \ to activate Explorer Mode. You can navigate the file system using the arrow keys( left arrow=back one level, right arrow=open the selected folder) and typing letters from the folder name to quickly select it. You can also activate Explorer Mode by pressing the left arrow key when browsing the list of files or folders. To exit Explorer Mode press \

The mathematical expressions may contain round brackets and functions like sin, cos, sqrt and more . To calculate a math expression from another window, select the text , activate EasyShell with Windows+Z , select the Calculate Command and when you press ENTER the result will be returned inside that window, replacing the selected text.

If you are editing a word document and you want to quickly insert an image from your local hard disk use this command. If you press and hold CTRL you can see a thumbnail of the selected image file.

If you quickly want to print on a paper a small text like a name or a phone number use this command. You can also select a snippet from another editable window.
